I had a problem with the lightsaber at first as well - it's hard to tell when you hit someone because they don't really react to it. It might help if it was a little more obvious that they'd been hit - i mean a small jet of blood or something would do wonders when it comes to seeing who's getting hit. Otherwise you can be fighting away getting your ass kicked whilst you think your killing the enemy instead.

I dunno, the Imperial Heavy Repeater was pretty funky in a trooper fight...

As for the sparks, spare me the child-orientation. I want blood!

If you play the DEMO on the JEDI skill level, you fight a Sith Master. But you should try to play on JEDI KNIGHT difficluty level. Anyone played yet?

I played on it and it is damn hard.

Fighting those two dark jedi is helluva hard, once out of like 10 something times I beat them, with 15 health remaining. :)

Nonono... (In full version game atleast) blue mode is defensive mode, it's fast but does light damage. Red mode is very slow but does nice damage. And yellow mode is something between of the two.

Personally I favor the blue mode.

Try to beat the full game in Jedi Master difficulty, THAT'S HARD!
No, it's not hard for Kyle Katarn but it's frigging hard to keep friendly npc's that you're supposed to protect alive because they'll be always blasted to hell... :sigh:

Yes, I have played on it. It wasn't that hard, except those lightsaber battles I didn't win. But with one normal weapon I managed to kill those two lightsaber guys (whatever they are).

But try Jedi Master... that's hard. You start with 50 health, and that's maximum. Same with that shield (except that you start with 0). And that's not all, enemies do lots of damage and all... very hard.

In the demo there was only blue and yellow mode... red mode might be nice (and full version, too :p).

Well, even the demo was very hard with it. There wasn't any NPC's to protect, but it was hard for the player (at least for me :p).

AARGH!! I played it on Jedi knight difficulty. Those two Dark Jedi really got me mad. The first one I defeated was the Padawan. Poor dude! :D The second one keeped killing me and killing me. Then I got angry and started to swing the saber everywhere and at last I killed him, cutting off his hand.

Chee!! Two opponents!! What do they think I am? Darth Maul or something? :snipe:

Why bother?  I already have the full version!  I love that game...it's like crack!

Heh.  I think it'd be pretty sweet if some of us here who have the game jumped in for a few MP matches.  :D  I wouldn't be able to host though.  Damn LAN system...

Okay, here's the official word on it.  Blue=fast, yellow=medium, red=strong.

Actually, he's got the whole damn thing wrong!  :D

Blue = Fast Stance.  Good for quick, lightly damaging attacks.  Good for getting a few quick hits in and backing away, or overpowering your opponent with a relentless barrage of slashes.  Good for newbies.

Yellow = Standard Stance.  Balences speed with power.  not as quick as Blue, but has quite some power behind it.  Use often.

Red (not in demo) = Power Stance.  Slow, but ridiculously powerful.  One or two slashes kill with this.  The downside is the speed factor, very slow.  If you can hit with this stance, it'll be well worth it.  Recommended for advanced players.

Ack!  Ned beat me to it.  No matter, I'll kep this post up anyways.  :D

Well the saber moves are absolutely fantastic. I really love the saber clash and when you are trying to win a duel in that situation. Though the sounds are a bit different from Jedi Knight I Dark Forces II, but anyway they are cool. I nearly stick my face to the screen when playing.

Argh; still have not gotten a chance to play this due to exams. However, they are finally over (last one was today), so I will try it out tonight and see what the included level is like.

Trust me, you will not like it! :D No I am just kidding. Go play along! No really I was just kidding, but play it on different difficulty levels and of course use the lightsaber, the elegant weapon for a more civilized age.

Yeah, you will like it, at least if you play it few times.

I managed to beat the demo with Jedi Master (hardest), though I killed those two Jedi's with that flak cannon (UT) type weapon. But with Jedi Knight difficulty, I can usually beat them with lightsaber.

There are some moves I didn't found on readme, I managed to do some strange move but I don't know how, it was a mistake. :p
