Resolution loss when converting .flv
I am LPing Portal 2. Fraps killed me so I set up Livestream Procaster. On the site it says that the resolution is 768x432 - not really huge because I messed up the settings but it is usable. However, when I download the .flv file and convert it, it actually turns into something like a 320x200 file or so - which is junk. What can I do? Is it the conversion that screws something up?

Re: Resolution loss when converting .flv
I have no idea what to tell you Lucika, but I was curious to see if there was any free video capture software out there besides the ubiquitous FRAPS. To that end, I looked to SourceForge: http://sourceforge.net/search/?q=video+capture+software

For which, VirtualDub looks like something which might be worth trying. Here's their home site:

http://www.virtualdub.org/index.html

I think I might need to try this myself.

Possible... but since then I realized that the free version of the program produces horribly bad quality footage anyway, so I went back to Fraps and tweaked a bit...

...now I have audio desync.
