Weapon hitpoints again
Already threw this on mantis a while ago, supposely there was something fixed somewhere in nightly r7141. Alas, a beam (no matter what damage it deals) will detonate a bomb with 50000 hitpoints in a single hit still. ):

Beams are not a weapon type like any other. The change Wanderer made was in relation to other Primary style (non-beam) weapons and interaction with bomb-vs-bomb.

For the beam behaviour to be modified would require (IIRC) a Profiles or Mod flag to generate the desired behaviour while still maintaining current Retail, and it's currently undergoing conversation.
