Certainly ranks in the "most tedious and boring ****" category.

 
 

texturing is fun though. (IMO)

Ah UVing... the one step that makes or breaks people even more than textures. It takes a lot of skill to UV fast and good, being able to understand how a mesh unfolds so that you can get maximum exposure for the minimum of waste. Have pity on those who have to UV for a living  !

Hell if I can learn to do it (Believe me I struggled with it a lot at first) then I'm certain Hades can do it if he applied himself. On the plus side the UV unwrapper in the latest version of blender is a heck of a lot better than previous versions. A lot less stretching when using the conformal method. I was able to UV map the new Ennead and Herc 3 models in about a day and a half each with it. Texturing is another matter though.

Uvmapping isn't that boring or tedious, what I do find more is texturing panels and rivets.  Oh and the actually conversion to where it works is still a major boring.
