Why the hell do people go on and on and on about the language used in Derelict? It was
NOT, IMO very extreme at all. It was tame. Go onto any school playground or watch any modern movie with a rating and then tell me that the language in Derelict was extreme.
When I was writing the scripts for my parts I didn't use "the 'f' word" at all, or anything similar. The worst was probably "holy sh*t" which was said once, I think - and would only offend if you were religious, I think.
Besides, some people have said that a little...colouful language seems more realistic - how do you think you'd react to the events in the campaign? I realise that little kids might have access to the game, and that's why we kept the language toned down. They know it all already anyway, and you can't shield them from it for long.

Rant Over.
