I was just thinking, (and wiki browsing while waiting for a taxi)... everyone seems to agree that Terrans dominate the modding scene. And this is true - the numbers stack up vastly in favour of Terran ships. People also tend to say that everyone wants to make a destroyer, or juggernaut or whatever. I've said this myself, in the past. But, really... where are they all?

Seriously... Look at the Terran destroyers on the wiki. With the exception of BPs Strattcomm ships, there really are very few modern (i.e. HTL), high quality post capella destroyers. Lots of retail ones, lots of dubious quality ones, one or two acceptable ones (Henderson springs to mind) and a few truly brilliant, but non freespacey ones (Esarai's Emperor being the most obvious).

So, I'm left to assume that all these destroyers are sitting in the modpacks of campaigns, unreleased. I have no problem with that, of course, but I just can't think of/picture them in my head. So, can anyone throw up some pics or DL links for high quality, HTL, Terran post-capella destroyers? I'm not planning on using them for anything, so it doesn't matter if they're unreleased - I'm honestly just curious.

I'm all for this. I could use some new releases to good ships. I'm also rather limited by the selection of Shivan ships especially, but any good looking new ship for any race would be greatly welcomed.

I have that on my hard drive but even in PCS2 that one has my system begging for mercy, I know a few other more experienced community members were working on it so might be worth doing a forum search to see if any others got close to taming it.  I hope they did because it is a beautiful model.

Shadow Genesis/Inferno has like three-four for GTVA (Icelus, Boreas, Anchorage, Lenaeus, etc), and like four for EA (Tereus, Lindos, Auriga, Basileus).
Which is like eight.
There's also the Sirona, and Stratcomms terran destroyers as released, like you mentioned (which is already more than all the Vasudan and Shivan ones that exist put together, mind you)
There's also the Zagreus...and probably half a billion others I can't think of right now.

The Shivans in Inferno are not HTL, so there's a grand total of ONE Shivan destroyer that is high poly (the ASW HTL Vassago), and like two Vasudan ones (Stratcomm's)...

There aren't any that are like modern-modern like the Cain/Lilith/Sath/Hattie...

Yes but it is a fairly high poly mesh, as is the reyena.
Definitely not retail.

They're as "HTL" as the Sobek and Deimos. (except for their ****ass turrets)

Re-read the OP. He said models not made by Stratcom. The Raynor and Titan were both made by him.

Yeah, no. He pretty much ran off like little babies when people gave him any sort of criticism, be it constructive or not, on his ships (which also resulted in him deleting his ships too)

I'm not sure if the Vexor would be a good GTVA ship considering the sheer difference in design, and given it was originally planned to be used as the Solaris but eventually dropped for being a nightmare to fix, it would probably discourage further use.
Other than that the Wiki mostly has Inferno / Alliance ships and Strattcomm's ships.
