red faction Armageddon
hi guys
does somweone reviews about this game red faction Armageddon and screenshots

Re: red faction Armageddon
What I've heard is that (re)adopting a more linear gameplay style did Armageddon no favors.  Guerilla was good but didn't leave me chomping at the bit for more, so I've personally not picked up Armageddon.  Giant Bomb was less than impressed, though.

Re: red faction Armageddon
let me know how the drm is. i just re-installed rf:g like too days ago and it has worked intermittently at best, all thanks to the tumor known as gfwl. i dont think il be spending much money on single player games that dont let me save in offline mode. especially when there are so many other games coming out that i am somewhat interested in.

Re: red faction Armageddon
Considering the critical panning of the new Duke Nukem... I wouldn't view that as a compliment.

Guerrilla was fun, but I would have preferred them sticking with the open world.

2 is truly awful (or so I have heard), just go to the surprisingly decent but GFWL-infected Guerilla

Eh, if you like shooting stuff and blowing holes in walls, 2 is still worth playing. Just don't expect anything stupendous.

Re: red faction Armageddon
i wasn't expecting anything super.  1 wasn't either, but i feel the need to play through them before guerilla for the sake of continuity.  and they were like $3 between the two of them.

Re: red faction Armageddon
There is no continuity between RF2 and RF:G, at least I don't remember any mention about RF2's characters or plot (ok, there were bones of someone named Shrike, but that's it) in Guerilla.

Re: red faction Armageddon
If by story you mean a load of generic space aliens, then yeah sure it has a story.

Re: red faction Armageddon
it's more about knowing the universe for me than direct story continuity.  unless the original is insanely outdated (doom 2 -> doom 3) or is only the same in name (far cry 2) i feel like i'm missing stuff if i don't play the first ones.  its just a thing i have.

Re: red faction Armageddon
I personally would just enjoy playing the level that is very much Descent based.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emBQRoviLp0  if only  :v: would make a whole game....
