He doesn't take criticism well, and since he's the member of the HLP oligarchy, any opposition will bring about swift punishment.

Just a friendly advise. If you think your message was "constructive" AND "criticism", but it got you banned for two weeks, maybe, just maybe, you should take another look at the message and think about it.

Since as a designer, I've been very much affected by Spoon's constant negativity in release thread and his powers to burn whichever campaign release thread he wishes. I am deeply concerned that no matter how much effort one puts into the campaign, he comes by, posts some short-sighted selective negativity, then sets the tone for the remainder of the release thread.

If it was anything like the comments in that thread, then no, it certainly was not constructive criticism.  You can say all you want that Wings of Dawn had a lot of Star Control in it, no one disputes that.  Not even Spoon.  I'm a religious SC2 player and an avid Wings of Dawn fan, and I wasn't bothered by it.  Even if you don't like it, the best thing to do isn't to sit back, having not played it, and call it ripoff anime bull**** and the several other things you said in that thread.  That's not constructive criticism, that's downright inflammatory.

Also, calling the admin who banned you a wise guy isn't a quick way to endear yourself to the community.

And TopAce, this isn't the first time I've seen this, but whatever problems you and Spoon have with each other, sort them the **** out already.  The two of you are by far two of the most productive and talented FREDers on the board, and you're wasting a lot of energy carrying on with this drive-by ****posting of a vendetta.  I don't know what he did to make you so mad, but you have to let it go.
