mmmkay so when command gives the go ahead to disable the repulse, and if i give alpha wing the order to disable the repulse, they blow their load on the back of the repulse. and then it jumps away feeling dirty and violated.

While those thruster glows are pretty and all, those aren't the engine subsystem. So instead what I have to do is lead alpha wing below the ship using form on my wing or cover me or something and then when i have a clear line of sight to the engine sub system, tell em to go nuts.

suggest a better placement of alpha for the start of the mission =/

It may make things more difficult, but that's the nature of the beast.

I doubt there will be any changes made to the missions aside from bugfixes.

You've got to DIVE DIVE DIVE at the beginning to get a clear line of sight to the subsystem. Just order your wingmen yo cover you or form on your wing while you do that.
