Questions about the cockpit's view...

Why does the cockpit's window is reflecting the other side of the view?

How can I move the camera or look around when in cockpit view?

Any tips?

Thank you...

To Look around you need a Track IR device (110 €) or to use Face Track No IR/Free Track (free) but required to have a webcam to work and to download the software.
For the reflecting thing, just turn off Environment mapping in the launcher. It doesn't solve completely.

you can also use a wiimote with freetrack, but  you still need an ir lighting setup of sorts. other sorts of free look support can be scripted in.

as for glass, i usually just delete those polies from the interior, or use invisible.

How can I look around the cockpit with mouse? Controls options says I need to hold 0, but it does not work for me. Is it a bug?

Do you mean the free-look control? As far as I know that has never worked. You can either lock your view onto a target (Believe this needs to be assigned in controls as it has no bind by default), or use a face tracking unit (TrackIR / Free Track).

Re: Questions about the cockpit's view...
free look worked in retail, iirc you just hold down numpad0 and move the joystick/mouse. but im not sure if its still works. somewhere they animated snap views, but there was some controversy over that, so im not sure if that feature was reversed. in general id like to see a whole slew of new view commands. i think you should be able to do everything you can do with a trackir with keyboard, mouse, and joystick buttons and/or axes.

for now scripts can be used, like my cockpit script on svn has a whole bunch of freelook and cockpit features. but lately it contains all the features i want to put into nukemod 20whateveryearifini****in and thus is a little convoluted and none too modular. it is however moddable through tables and contains examples.
