AC Model Recovery Heap

So, to celebrate a few weeks a data carving and recovery of my files from a half-fried hard drive, I'm going to clean up a few of my models and release raw versions of blend files so users can use a little spitshine and customize them to their heart's content.

Have any suggestions, them pile 'em on.

Huh. Those are pretty good (if untextured). So my suggestion would be to get them textured :)

Bump for great looking ships. Could use more attention. Also hope to see if more models could be recovered and uploaded.

These models do deserve to be finished. They are terrific. I can see a lot of uses for them. :)

Wow. The middle one is awesome in the sense that it looks like a mix of UEF and TEV tech. Anyone else seeing that?

Me! Could also be a next generation GTVA heavy fighter. I'd suggest bigger bomb pods.

This is a community centered around a Freespace game where a majority of the mods are Freespace based... it only makes sense that people making those mods are constantly looking for new models to put in their missions/campaigns/mods...

Here's some fresh stuff from the recovery files, and would definitely cause some modder love:







Still have a few dozen gigs of disk images left, but I've gotten most of my model archive back. Sadly, I normally keep backups, but the disk crash came when I was carrying out a routine secure wipe of my backup media before getting ready for another exciting season of fine arts college.
