I've recently been extensively experimenting with realistic tracers on guns and noticed that a modeled bullet will always cast white lighting. However, I've got various colored tracers and a substitute pattern, so I'd like to disable light coming from bullets and define light color of tracers. Would that be possible to implement? It should cut down on number of unnecessary lights and allow more tracers to have one. It could also allow light to be cast from a missile, simulating light from thruster. Because I know that OGL has an 8-light limit, this feature (disabling/customizing light coming from a weapon projectile) could prove usefull when it comes to fast-firing ballistic guns (the kind I've been working with for quite some time, it looks silly when a bullet whizzes past and lights up the ship for no appearant reason).
