My stance on the whole argument is "tile maps bad, proper UV's good". If you want anything else, have fun and find your dearest tiles in the old mvp's.

What part of "dozens of perfectly decent models that already exist are broken by people thoughtlessly throwing out so-called unused tilemaps" do you not understand? Your post contributes absolutely nothing, solves no problems, and is generally malignantly useless.

By the way, all the time spent "lrn2texture" and painstakingly retexturing old models could be spent using existing models and actually making missions, improving balance, and other things far more useful than fixing things that aren't broken.
