Nuke will like the first point :D

it should in theory make it possible to render the hud to texture, with alpha, so that i can put it on a hud subobject in a cockpit model.
granted im having difficulty with getting render to texture to work right with recent nighties. doesnt help that the build link is awol. thats ok, il just update my source and hit compile (actually i think its faster than downloading nightlies cause my connection sucks).

*edit* seems rtt was fixed recently, if not by this build, so i guess il see about that working hud.
*edit again* rtt is really broke

No it's not just you.  There not working for me either.
Normal people believe that if it isn't broke, don't fix it. Engineers believe that if it isn't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet.
The difference between Mechanical Engineers and Civil Engineers is:
Mechanical Engineers build weapons.  Civil Engineers build targets
An optimist sees the glass half full; the pessimist sees it half empty. An engineer sees that the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
