‘Kissing’ couple prompt scare onboard plane

basically a couple locked themselves in the toilet to make out but the air crew understandably not knowing this thought that the length of time they were in there suspicious and enacted counter terror procedures resulting in the plane being shadowed by a pair of F16s and a SWAT team ready to board the plane on landing.  Given the end result it would seem overkill but given the information available to the responsible people was it?

Seriously, if the couple was actually planning a terror attack, it's pretty unlikely that they'd admit to it, should the attendant ask.

Also, nobody wants to hear you **** in the aircraft restroom, so demonstrate that you've got more willpower and discretion than a poo-flinging chimp and wait until you've reached your destination.
