I opened up the mainhall.tbl file for BP:AoA, just to get an idea of what I'd need to make a custom main hall screen. It's newb syndrome all over again. I might as well have been attempting to do brain surgery.

Is there a tutorial of this somewhere on HLP? (On mainhall.tbl, not brain surgery.)

There is the Wiki page.

However, the mainhall.tbl certainly is not the friendliest of the tables. I've done a lot of work with it and am glad to help. Read over the Wiki and get started. When you have more specific questions, I'll have more specific answers.
