Ok, myself and Direct X finally managed to get along, and so here I have an Alpha release of my game. If you criticize my graphics, you are offering to make me better ones
Anyways....heres the basic stuff:
Requirements: DirectX 8.1 (I dunno if it works on anything lower)
Keyboard Commands:
Move vehicle - up, down, left, right
Attack - a
End Turn - Enter
Next Unit - Tab
Scroll map - Numpad Up, Down, Left, Right
Quit - Esc
Attacking:
I thought this might need a little bit of explanation, so I decided to put this here:
When you hit 'a', the reticle that shows selected unit goes out in the direction the unit is facing up to its max range. From there, you use the arrow keys to move the reticle around until it lands on the target you want to shoot. After that, hit 'a' again and the unit will take damage. If you want to cancel an attack, just move over the land, and hit 'a' again instead of over a unit. After that, a red thingy will go over the unit that fired, and it cannot attack again in that turn.
Misc:
The map is 75 * 75
yes, I know you can go into the black area
yes, I know team 1 allways wins, but remember, this is an alpha
