I'm pleased to announce a new miniseries campaign!

Trailer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHbqt5QMHtQLoosely set in the Freespace universe, Burning Heaven takes place prior to Terrans discovering subspace and spreading to other systems. Terrans have colonized many planets and moons throughout the Sol System. Despite its setting in the future, the same issues faced in our time are still prominent; natural resources are depleting, population is exploding, and the people are unhappy with their government. Terrans have united under a single Imperial Government. The Imperial Terran Navy keeps the planets and moons subjugated to maintain a steady supply of resources to Earth. The colonies eventually start a rebellion. After three years of warfare, the rebel forces are crushed. Burning Heaven begins at the very end of this failed rebellion.
You are Captain Sergei Vertov, the leader of Phoenix Squadron. Phoenix begins leading surgical terrorist attacks against the Imperial Terran Government, yet things are not as black and white; is it justifiable to kill civilians when trying to destroy your enemies, or will you become the enemy you set off to destroy? The campaign (and world) branches and reacts to the decisions that the player makes, the pilots of your squadron will actually leave depending on whether they agree with your actions, and the campaign ending is based on what actions you have committed. Start a revolution or die as a terrorist?
I started this project in Summer 2011 as creator, writer, and level builder. I've been helped by a small group of community members for their aid in resolving issues, the use of certain models, and worked with a small team of voice actors at my college to get the characters in. I've been polishing and adding the last voices the past month or so when I have time to work.
Burning Heaven: Release Date - November 21, 2011
Thanks for the continued support HLP!
