To get more polys, try actually using cylinders, like for those guns, rather than blocks;)

also to all you people who said it loks like a TIE. I don't think so (before even) it looked much more like a Roland Systems CalHorn Fighter, deffinately!

hehe, fixed guns, added missile banks, made guns longer, made the transition from side to cockpit look better.

One more gripe. The wings and the tail. Bring the edges together at the tops so that they are much thinner at the top than at the bottom. This will make it feel less polygonal and more of a real model. Unless having square tails/wings was the idea but F-15's and F-22's don't look like that and neither does the Hercules Mark 2 or the Artemis.

Just a gripe/suggestion

Has this been finished? It looks very promising.

I think it looks more like a gunship than a fighter or bomber. Not very Freespace-y, but an excellent model nonetheless.

TIE Advanced is A-1 Supar, but so is Analazon's model.

That, and another fighter I've seen on the board, looks incredibly similar to a Heavy Fighter in Master of Orion 2 (think of that cool thing in the introduction FMV).
