Quite an interesting commentary on modern culture
This is a small piece done by C.S. Lewis, called "Screwtape Proposes a Toast."  It first appeared, I believe, in a newspaper column in the late '50s.  It's a bit long, but it's incredibly interesting.

It's fictional... I don't think Lewis imagined Hell to be anything quite like that. But the truth in it still rings clear. This was written from the perspective of the diabolical, so good is bad and bad is good. And even if you don't believe in the supernatural in the slightest, I doubt you'll be left without some sort of takeaway.

So I wanna hear your thoughts. Even if they don't necessarily agree with mine.
Could we with ink the ocean fill, and were the skies of parchment made
Were every stalk on earth a quill, and every man a scribe by trade
To write the love of God above, would drain the ocean dry
Nor could the scroll contain the whole, though stretched from sky to sky!
