I have just  manually installed FSopen and FSport with mediaVPS.
All seemed to work until I noticed while I was playing the main FSport campaign that the Valkyrie was still the retail model for some reason (the other models visible in the tech room seem to work fine).
Running the Terran Gauntlet mission (to check at least the model of the fighters that aren't yet displayed in the tech room) I noticed during ship selection that it was the only model with this problem, all the others were correctly displayed and postprocessed.

You've somehow made FSO select \fsport\ as a mod folder twice, followed by the regularass MediaVPs. The correct -mod flag entry should be

  -mod fsport-mediavps,fsport,mediavps_3612
and you should be able to achieve this by simply selecting \fsport-mediavps\ as your active mod from the Launcher.

Yep, it seems I dumped some files in the wrong folder again.

Suggestion: I think it would be useful to add '[Solved]' in the title to get '[Solved] FSport MediaVPS issue' for better reference. I mean on all solved problems, or '[Pending]', etc to indicate their status
