actually the admins must be getting really pissed off about now (infact, even I, a bit), I mean look at all the closed threads on this page. About 1/3rd of all threads on this page have been locked.

IMO, this thread isn't ever-so-extreme. As I say, maybe Thunder has a different opinion and maybe I'm not aware of all that MD is capable of, but if I were in Thunder's shoes, I would hardly consider banning him on this single 'offence'.

I know I'm not in Thunder's shoes. :) It would all be rather humourous if Thunder just insisted that he was the one holding the phaser, though... :p

I wouldnt call this a first offence, but banning rarely solves problems of this nature. Banning i believe is for troublesome, damaging people.

EDIT: 3400 posts, man i spend a lot of time around here :D.
