I once got wasted by one of the Lucifer's main beams during "Doomsday" (FS1) when I decided to take out said turret with a Tsunami (knowing full well that I couldn't touch it).  I must have fired the weapon just as the beam was about to fire, and the AI suddenly decided to target the bomb instead of the Galatea.  It got the bomb, and me.  Talk about unexpected.

Completing all bonuses and objectives in the mission and then getting EMP'd, disabled, and then destroyed when Command didn't tell me to jump. :mad2:

Two players, on the same team, killing each other with mines, which were both intended to destroy an enemy transport.

(And yes, I have seen it happen. :lol: There needs to be a multiplayer mod with Freelancer-style dogfighting mines)
