Author Topic: Invisible lasers  (Read 2630 times)

Hi, I've just installed Freespace 2 Open v3.6.12 on my 32bit Ubuntu 12.04 machine and everything was working fine until I installed the MediaVP's but now I see this when starting up:


When playing the game I can't see the lasers from my fighter but I can see the ones belonging to the training instructor. I'm also running it from the command line as I couldn't work out how to get WXLauncher to compile from source but I'm okay with that, and like I said it was working fine without the MediaVP's so I've clearly done something wrong.

Quick glance at the log shows that you are missing MV_Effects.vp.
