How do you get cargo containers to show their cargo when you scan them? I gave them cargo and made them scanable, but nothing happens.

EDIT: I know that sounds really stupid, but I don't have much experience with FRED.

Determining cargo and scanning are two different things technically.

In your case, you don't need the Scannable ship flag. You only need to make sure the container has a cargo and it doesn't have the "cargo known" checked.
