Hi guys,
I find out there is technically almost impossible to control the ship using the mouse. I mean is completely different from Freespace where the mouse support is flawless. Is it any chance I can modify some settings to use defaults Freespace control???! Or any help please??? I cannot play this game using the mouse and keys... :(

Wait what.

Mouse works exactly the same in Diaspora than in FS2 and any other FSO mod. Have a look at your ingame F2 settings ?

Please post a debug log.

You are right!! For some reasons I pressed the D button with makes 3D viewing in the cockpit, totally scrambling the controls and targeting. Sorry about this...Cheers!

I can understand why that would confuse the hell out of you. :)

When I first hit D I *may* have done some random buttonmashing to figure out what the hell I did to my ship... :p

Incidentally, the most I've used of that button was to check out the inside of the cockpit, because I can't think of any other way to do it in game :D

Without trackIR or a freetrack setup, padlock view is indeed the best way to look around the cockpit a bit.
