If you want a ship to be more powerful you can easily do that with table editing

But this only changes the hitpoints and shields...
I mean the number of turrets.

Re: My campaign project " The Fall of GTVA"
Number of turrets doesn't matter as much as the quality of the weapon on said turret.
1 Standard Flak or 1 AAAf is scarier to fly against that 500 Terran Turret#Weaks. Because the latter will never hit you.

I see...
well, then doing the special hits stuff should do it.

Another question:
How do i add new ship at the database on FRED?
.-.

Its supar A1 ez.

http://www.hard-light.net/wiki/index.php/Ships_and_General_Mod_Creation

there is a tutorial on how to add a ship there if you can't follow that, welp, not sure anything I say will help :P
In general (for ships that do not come with tables), to table something you just copy a table of a similar-sized ship and edit the relevant fields (hitpoints, speed, model file, etc.) and make sure to match up the subsystems with the ship's special points in PCS2, and to arm it properly. (You should also do these checks even if there is a table provided, but of course people will be *lazy* and not do it, which is why I no longer attach tables with my models)

Re: My campaign project " The Fall of GTVA"
If you really want to change the number of turrets on a ship, you can do so in PCS2 (assuming you don't care about adding physical models for new turrets, which you would need to edit the model file in a program like Blender to do).

IIRC people have stacked turrets on turrets on occasion, using the same physical model for two of them, when they wanted to simulate increased firepower for whatever reason.

Update!

well guys!
the project isn´t dead!

Im working hard on FREDing, mission planning and on the story! soon i will upload the first prototype for the Prologue!

While you guys anxiously wait (i hope D:)

A new image on one of the planets i intend to place on the missions! :D

obs: what´s the best angle to place the planet in? i want the player to have a good vision of the planet and still, stay in low orbit.
