When going to GOG.com, its states that Freespace 2 will work with XP, Vista and Windows 8, not 7. Whats up with that?

not sure, could be a typo, either way with FSO its not an issue

I've been running FSO in win7 x64 for years, as most of HLP, and never hit any trouble.

It's either a typo or mistake, because FS2 (retail even) works well on Win 7.

since FS2 was made for win98 or whatnot, i don't see a reason to worry about this "typo".

I'm running XP now, but I hope to have Win7 before the year is out. And I want to make sure that FS2 runs on Win7; otherwise maybe Win8.

It runs on Win 7 fine.

BTW...GOG.com doesn't have Freespace 2 on sale like it says in the blue box above.

It used to say FS2 works on XP, Vista and 7. I guess with the recently announced Win 8 support they accidentally wrote it that way on the site.
