OT - Anyone live near any of these places?
My friends' band is on tour in the US right now, and I figured I'd put in a plug or two for them. They're called My Name Is Nobody, and they're punk/hardcore. They'll be touring around, you can see the schedule here: http://www.menofisraelrecords.com/tour.php

Here's the "main" page of their very temporary site; you can preview a couple of songs there: http://www.menofisraelrecords.com/mnin.html

Anyway, if you get to see them, tell the lead singer and guitarist, Adam, that you heard about them from me, Michael Cohen. :) He'll flip! :D

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

There's a girl in that band, right? Because I hear a girl in the first song. I'm asking because most boy bands sound like girls, no offense.

Oh, yea, Let me go sounded good, but after the first two times, I started to ger annoyed, and it needs a little more clarity when it comes to the words? maybe make the voice louder, and lessen the music volume?
Of course, that's probably just a personal preference, I know that's probably how it's supposed to sound.

Huh, this is usually where people go "what?" And they're one of the more well-known hardcore bands. :p

I would listen to the songs, but the audio is screwed on this computer for some reason.

Heh, unless you have 5 guys singing in your band or you have a hot chick that dresses like a French Whore (can I say whore here?)  in it, you're pretty much going to get ignored in America.
