The GTVA Sol Expeditionary Force was annihilated in a single battle, destroying political support for the war and probably ushering in a GTVA-UEF cold war.

Played this a while ago but only recently started thinking about the outcome as a possible ending for BP2. (disregarding annihilated in a single battle)

Is this still a valid outcome as far as the writers are concerned? I have been going under the assumption that a UEF victory would lead to civil war in Terran space so if the GTVA could maintain stability this changes my expectations for BP3.

I meant short to mid term as in between BP2 and BP3 (unless BP3 is set a few years later than BP2).

Is it feasible that  the Terran assembly could  stay in power after a UEF victory? How would this affect the UEF?

I don't know if Death of Ubuntu was a distraction to prevent us from guessing the end of the war but that indicates a massive consolidation of power in the military and increased spending for fighting technology
