Please explain for us the cosmological principles that lead to an accelerating expansion rate, or explain where the evidence of accelerating expansion is faulty.

Oh I get it just fine, I just think the Cardassian stuff is beyond old.  Not to mention many people out there really do think that way about dark energy, so I answer such posts in this manner regardless of humorous intent.
