Good question, I'm afraid it would look bad. The unit polycount has to be lowered significantly from that of FS. TA can't handle hundreds of ships at once if they are all FS polycount.

How much lower? You could possibly use one of the lower quality LoDs already done by [V], though I have no idea of the average polycount of TA models.
