Wow. I would've never expected such results. Why would cosmic rays only come from one direction? I wonder what else it finds out there.

So...how does this indicate that Voyager is entering an actual "cloud"?

Also, who else thought that "cloud" in this thread title was referring to internet storage clouds, and thus was totally misled by what this thread was about, because they didn't get the Star Trek reference...? :S

I'm lucky my dad was a Star Trek fan.

I just realized that VGER is birthed from Voyager 6, which never existed, making this thread title rather innaccurate. :P

Ditto. After posting this thread I went a rewatched that scene in TMP in a 1080p version, and was able to make out the 6 beneath the grime. :p However, from what I could tell, TMP's V6 is identical in visual design to the real V1, so... :p
