Re: problem running multiplayer
When you took your 2nd screenshot did you have more than one copy of FSO running?  The icon in the FSO taskbar seems to have the multiple windows "edge" on it.  Try closing all copies of FSO & Freespace2 then try again.

If you don't have two copies running then maybe another program has the FSO network port open, tcp/7808 I think.  Try this:

1) Run cmd.exe as administrator
2) Run netstat -nab and check if anything is listed for port 7808

Here's some more details on the netstat -nao and -nab options

Re: problem running multiplayer
Are you running Windows 8?  If so can you try using wxlauncher (I guess you might have meant wxlauncher when you said new launcher)?  If that doesn't work, please post a screenshot of the wxlauncher network settings.

Re: problem running multiplayer
On a side note there is probably no reason for not just defaulting that to the max setting if not set.  I don't think it really does anything anyway.

Yeah. I've been meaning to trace out and fix that issue for a while now actually.

Re: problem running multiplayer
Looks correct to me. In your data folder you'll find a file called multi.log. Post that for us. A debug log would also be useful too.
