I try desperately to ignore it, but I can always feel it scratching at the corners of my mind with sharp serrated talons, plunging the calmness of my mind into a tempest of disorder and loathing.  It mocks my denials with shrill cackling laughter, for my sense of aesthetics has a callous disregard for my well being.  The lurid colours! The shoddy workmanship!  Goddamn pen keeps rolling off because its not even!
