Merged: Stuck in a mission =(/I'm kinda desperate
I give up!
I've tried several times scanning into the Artemis station in BP-WiH but is no use. Everything appears in diamonds. All subsystems are locked and the more I run around the station the more frustrated i become! Does anyone have an indea what to do????? :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

 
I'm almost giving up!
I'm stuck in a mission in which I need to scan the Artemis Station's comms but all I get is to bump my ship several times against the station. Every subsystem is in diamonds and I CANT SEE the invisible walls of the station!! (I bet no one)  :banghead: :banghead:
Is there ANY solution on how to scan the f@#$@#& comm subsystem????  :confused: :confused: :confused: :(

 
There's an issue with the model which makes one of the subsystems very hard to scan. I managed to scan it eventually by edging around until I got a good angle, if that helps.

All I can say is that it's definitely possible - you just need to hit it from a specific angle - an angle which I unfortunately can't remember right now. :( I'm sure someone else will be able to be more helpful though.

You know what? I found out that I have a serious issue with graphics. I viewed this same mission on youtube and found out that I was missing some textures. Look at the images I uploaded. That's the way Artemis station looks like through my pc.... What file could I be missing?............

Why has noone asked for a debug log. The hell is wrong with you guys. Are you trying to make it harder for newbies to get tech help.

I think I managed to give you the file you requested. If not, let me know and I'll upload it again.
Here's my fs2_open.log file

One other thing. When entering in Debug mode the game crashes right after hitting "Commit" to one of Noemi's typings (Mission called "all things are permitted").

When I play this mission (or any other) using the regular mod the game fatally crashes after going into "weapons" inside briefing (upper left corner).

I hope this helps.

Actually I DID follow one of the options... It reads:

"Copy the file to a safe location and deliver it to us by using one of the following means:
include it to your post as an attachment (click Additional Options when posting)"

Not to worry. Call me a newbie. Maybe that's the reason.

No, no! What Matth means, is that you did not follow the Blue Planet install instructions properly. Those .vp files from Blue Planet are supposed to be installed in their own folder 'blueplanet2' . How did you install Blue Planet? From the Complete Installer? or manually?
