[Solved] War in Heaven crash while loading campaign
Hello, I'm new to this forum, just subscribed to post my problem. Game crashes whenever I try to play the campaign. Attached the first half of the fs2_open log, since it's too long for this post.

Since you are using an Intel integrated chipset, you will need to disable shader support by using the -no_glsl commandline switch ("Disable shader support" in the Launcher's troubleshooting section).

I have no problems with Diaspora, despite in the release thread it is cleary told that Intel integrated graphics is not supported.

I really meant that you should use the build (the first link), not the patch, and certainly not by modifying the patch. In general, you don't modify patches unless you know exactly what you're doing.

If you insist on using the patch file (e.g., because you want to play with a newer SVN revision), then you need to apply the patch unmodified to the latest SVN revision. (You should also download it again because it was modified about an hour ago.)

Sorry, I'm not english, I have a bit of difficulties in understanding what you mean...

So, I saved the original BP.PATCH file as backup before doing anything else. Then I overwrote the file in the directory root with the one posted in the link you gave me. This was a bad thing to do? I should restore the back-up file?

For the build, I'm succesfully using the FS2 Open 3.7.1. The 3.6.17 is still there since I read somewhere in this forum that it doesn't create any kind of conflict.

The last thing: what should I download again?

There is no reason to keep 3.6.17, so you should delete it.
