I'm a big fan of Scottish and Irish folk, especially old bands such as The Corries and Irish Rovers. Recently, I came across this video:
There are 4 very old tracks here, all from The Corrie Folk Trio & Paddie Bell. I'd really appreciate some help with identifying them. I can only recognize 3 and 4.
1 - Yellow Girls
2 - My Love She's but a Lassie Yet
3 - The Singing Games
4 - Johnnie Lad
EDIT: Identified the first two, thanks to PH.

from my scotsman powers i can determine that the first one is yellow girls (modulo variant spellings), the second is my love is but a lassie yet (hey i actually recognised that one without googling the lyrics)
The good Christian should beware of mathematicians, and all those who make empty prophecies. The danger already exists that the mathematicians have made a covenant with the devil to darken the spirit and to confine man in the bonds of Hell.

Could you link me to the lyrics for the first one? Unsurprisingly, Google doesn't help much with a title like that.
EDIT: Nevemind, I remembered that I've heard it in some "shanties&sea songs" collection. Found it after mentioning that to Google.

i occasionally get a hankering for folk metal. usually its scandinavian but there is an irish band that is ****ing awesome.
never thought to look for scottish bands though. but a guy in a kilt shreding a guitar would be ****ing epic.
