help cant load pilot was working yesterday
Well other than what the title says i don't know what to say.  haven't changed settings or anything. the error is something like malloc failed. FS2_open.log attached

It looks like you hit the infamous bug that that build is known for. Use this one instead. Unfortunately, your pilot file is most likely corrupted, but you can try to fix it yourself by following these instructions. (Skip the first paragraph; you don't have to attach your pilot file unless you really want someone else to fix it.)

Guys, this is what happens if you keep distributing obviously broken builds with your installers, especially when fixed builds are available.

Also, why are you using the compatibility packs (bp-compat.vp and bp2-compat.vp) with a Blue Planet build? Those packs are meant to be used only with regular builds.

The installer is going to get an update soon, so in the meantime the install thread has changed to link to the build thread.

yeah i started a new pilot it seems like a similar bug that afflicts silenthunter 3 on occasion.

as to the compat it was the only thing keeping act 3 from crashing on me at one point or so i thought. going to run though my files though.
