Re: What Western TV are you watching?
I wish I could get into a few live-action shows, but most of them never seem to click.  The last thing I really got excited about was LOST, and I gave up on that after about 3 seasons when it became obvious the writers had no idea where they were going with it.  I do feel like I'm pretty much obligated to sit through Breaking Bad at some point though...even the random portions of a few episodes I've seen are so goddamn good.

I'd suggest you consider just getting everything that has ever aired on AMC and HBO as a series

Re: What Western TV are you watching?
Picked up Sherlock. It's bloody brilliant series, the best I've seen in very long time. Each episode is one and half hours long, but one season has only three episodes. But it works really well.

Spoiler:
So far the only thing that bothers me is how Moriarty character turned out to be. I really expected someone very different.

Sherlock is pretty awesome, especially if you have read the books and how they subtly play off them.  Its also funny how they can repeat Watson's back story in the 2010 the same as it was in 1880.

Finally got see Tucker and Dale vs Evil this weekend.  It was a wicked hoot.

Re: What Western TV are you watching?
So I decided to give Sleepy Hollow a try.

It's pretty good, although this is a show that, going from its premise, just should not work.

I saw the Alan Partridge film last night, it was excellent (Alan Partridge counts as Western TV!)

I recently learned of the existence of, and have now watched, Wing Commander Academy. I enjoyed it and would recommend it. For you Wing Commander fans, though you probably already know, Blair, Maniac and Tolwyn are all in there. It's good stuff. I wish it had continued.

American Horror Story: Coven.

It started out good, and has gotten better.

I'm convinced Person of Interest is THE best show on TV right now.

There is reasonable evidence for this.

Still thoroughly enjoying Once Upon a Time and its spinoff.

Also, just started watching Almost Human.  It has potential.  There are some plays off "Fringe," which was always excellent.

The commercials for that did remind me of how incredible Karl Urban was in Star Trek.

I've been watching that as well. Kinda disappointed by how the writers are handling female characters, but at the same time, thoroughly enjoying The "Dorian and John Snark at Each Other" Hour.

<MageKing17> "There's probably a reason the code is the way it is" is a very dangerous line of thought. :P
<MageKing17> Because the "reason" often turns out to be "nobody noticed it was wrong".
(the very next day)
<MageKing17> this ****ing code did it to me again

<MjnMixael> 2 hours later... "God damn, how did this ever work at all?!"

<MageKing17> How did this code ever work in the first place!?

<MageKing17> It was all working perfectly until I actually tried it on an actual mission.

I discovered Falling Skies a little while ago. It tells about people and resistance after alien invasion on Earth. I think it is pretty good and there's three seasons so far with fourth coming.

Re: What Western TV are you watching?
I've been binging Farscape as a comfort watch but god damn the drop in quality at the start of season 4 is precipitous. Should I push through this dismal season opener or give up?
