First of all truly amazing work with this game guys. Now to my issue, everything is installed, and the game launches properly and plays. But im unable to use the hud patched executables or the exe files which require a table to launch fs2. to prevent stretching of the hud in eyefinity. the issue occurs when selecting a different exe file in my launcher. The program freezes and i have to restart the computer to terminate it. Ive tried with both the launcher 5.5 and the wxlauncher, same issues. and ive tried many different hud shrinking executables. ive tried: Adaptable_HUD_build, fs2_open_ant_7r_inf, fso-WIN-Inferno_Ant7_SSE2-r6775.

And i thought my firewall was acting up, but i disabled that and the antivirus but the issue still persists.

Anyone got insight on what might be causing the issue?
thanks

It is not enough to just use a build with the new HUD code, you also need a special table file that can handle the resolution you're using.

yea i have used a table txt file as specified on the forums here. but when i select the exe in my launcher the whole thing freezes. Also, i tried this which dosent require a custom table file, http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=84340.msg1684642#msg1684642. But same issue here, the launcher freeze when i try to select the executable.

is there something else im missing?

Sorry, just to clarify, is it the launcher that freezes, or the game?
Error: ls.rnd.sig.txt not found

the launcher, both of them have the same issue, when i select another exe than the original fs2 open.exe. And i cant force the program or process to close, have to restart the comp to try again.
