I'm running wxlauncher in OS X Mavericks with the GOG version (which I installed in Bootcamp and copied over to OS X), and have the whole .torrent worth of MediaVPs in /Freespace2/MediaVPs_2014. When I unselect them in the MODs tab in wxlauncher, the game runs fine (although, as in many OS X games, I'm having trouble calibrating the joystick), but when I select the MediaVPs, it freezes on the splash screen with this error:

Error: Required token = [#END] or [$Species_Name:], found [$Countermeasure Type:   Type One] .

I've attached the fs2_open.log file, too. Is it a matter of messing with checkboxes/settings, or is there some hardware problem? Thanks for your help!

You need to grab a recent nightly, like this one:http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=86500.0. 

The 2014 mediavps will not work with the stable 3.7.0 release.
