This thread is for specific warships of a class, not classes!
Haha whoops! Saw that 30 secs after my post above, and so I fixed it
Which brings me to another point... How many Fenrii (plural of Fenris?) do I need to take out an Erebus?
I actually did a test. I've set up a scenario that throws the Raynor into Fenrii hell!
Average jump in range ~~6000 meters.
Attack ship positions: Front, Starboard, Broadside, Rear
Attack ship count: 6
Erebus stationary
So I did it like that, set up 2 ships per position, and make up 10 waves of them, all attacking the Erebus head on.
All front, front, starboard, broadside didn't even stand a chance. starboard and broadside only managed to land like 5-6 beam shots, while front didn't even made it to firing range. Once all of them were pulverised, only rear attacking ships managed to inflict actual damage.
So battle report:
Erebus destroyed.
Fenrii casualtise: 54
Survived Fenrii: 60
SPECIAL NOTE. If Erebus would reposition after defeating front, starboard, broadside, it would survive at ~~50% hull integrity, even if surviving fenrii were split to attack from all sides again.
