A New way for Invisibility!
OK while I was playing around with the Typhon in that render(a week ago maybe) I realized it used a texture that was not in ANY of the VPs and a had a nice unique name(invisible.pcx). This part of the ship that used it was supposed to be transparent(it covered the fighter bay doors, preventing the player to go into the bay). So, instead of texturing a model with green, you can just "texture" it with the invisible.pcx... and when you put it into FS2 it'll be invisible!!!

I haven't tested this theory but it should work!

Yep, I textured a Bakha bomber with invisible. and nothing was able to do anything to me, laser shots went right through me, and so did missiles, though the blast got me...

The best way to make an invisible ship is to make a straightforward cube-like object and then not paint it with anything, shield it and the ship will not be seen. Or you could always make a tiny ship so that it would be too small to hit!

I love my ideas... but still you'll be able to hit if you don't paint it with anything.. and won't it be this silver-type color????
