Not sure whether or not if I'm just dense and can't see the problem or what but it seems that Freespace 2 Open doesn't want to play custom head ani files that I place into messages.

I've tried just using the entire file, didn't work
I've tried omitting the a, b, and c, so it would look like this: Head-CM08.ani, didn't work
I've tried just using Head-CM08, didn't work
I fail to see what my problem is could anyone shed some light on the issue? Thank you!

Make sure they're in data\Hud - I know that the anis work, assuming you'reusing my CM08. You definitely don't need the a/b/c, although it should work with or without it.

apparently I added an "s" to the hud folder's name so instead of data/hud it was data/huds
