Aren't the Nightly builds supposed to stop when the 3.7.2 RC builds are starting to be issued?
Normal people believe that if it isn't broke, don't fix it. Engineers believe that if it isn't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet.
The difference between Mechanical Engineers and Civil Engineers is:
Mechanical Engineers build weapons.  Civil Engineers build targets

that was the decision at one point but it was causing issues, especially during ling RC periods so the decision was made (iirc pre3.7) to keep on with the nightlies

yeah, keep running them so that bugs fixed for one RC can be tested before the next RC is available.
