Earth Brakiri War Mission 15a Crashing‏
I'm having an issue where Mission 8a of the Earth Brakiri War Campaign continually crashes upon start.  The following error message accompanies the aforementioned crash to desktop:

Code: [Select]
Error: Cannot load mission -- for wing Alpha, ship Alpha 1 is not present in #Objects section.

File:D:\C++\Freespace\fs2_open 3.6.9 - BtRL\code\Mission\MissionParse.cpp
Line: 4784

I've already downloaded and installed the ebwpatch1a patch, which appears to be the only patch associated with this campaign.  I have no idea how to contact the campaign's author, Shaun Williams, directly.

7-22-14 UPDATE:

I managed to "correct" aforementioned issue with Mission 8a by replacing the .fs2 file with a fresh one.  However, I'm experiencing a similar issue with Mission 15a, which locks up the moment that the Shadow Battlecrabs open fire on the EA cruisers.  This necessitates using Windows Control Panel in order exit the game, and screws up my monitor's brightness settings as well.  I tried running the campaign using the FS2 Open v3.6.9 INF Debug executable, which provided the following error message:

Code: [Select]
Warning: EFF: Unable to load all frames for 'ea-debris01-glow.eff', stopping at #53

File:d:\c++\freespace\fs2_open 3.6.9 - btrl\code\bmpman\bmpman.cpp
Line: 1857

Simply replacing the Brak Attack 15a.fs2 file with a "fresh" one didn't help. :banghead:   I'm really not certain how to proceed from here, so I'm hoping someone can assist.  Many thanks in advance.
