Ok, so Fiaura The Tank Girl launches a little competition in her 501 sub special to make the best showing of a M3 Lee/Grant in WoT.

For the first time in months I load the terrible machine into my garage and give it a shot only to pull this out of a T:6 match.... Lehvaslaiho’s Medal, I may need to re-evaluate my opinion.

The Lee is a shockingly competent tank if you play it like a tank destroyer.

I loved the Lee. I was sad to stop playing it, though not so much as my StuG.

Not played it that much, but I agree, the Lee isn't bad at all if you understand how to play it. I think that's the thing, though - you have to play the Lee as a TD and if you dislike TD gameplay you'll never click with it (and it doesn't share their characterstics like a smaller size or good camo).

yer I am having a lot more fun with the tank this time round, the height of the vehicle compared to the gun is proving frustrating but having a 6pdr (playing the grant) on a 2 second reload at t:4 is making for fun times, also having had fun playing the stug III / Jpz IV and the UK AT-# tanks I have a much greater appreciation for the tradeoff in flexibility vs firepower

I'm pretty mediocre/terrible at mediums, but sometimes I get the occasional stroke of luck where I get to farm damage off of low tier heavies.
My profit that game stank because I ran out of APCR shells and had to fire one or two HEAT into tier 7s.    A terrible waste.
and I still don't like Swamp.
