Yeah, that's true enough, I suppose. The
only Vasudan design I ever saw that really impressed me as being close to [v] quality work was the screenshot of the new Vasudan space superirity fighter on the BWO website.
Mad Bomber, yeah, I'd love to take a look at your new ships. let me know where I might be able to download them. Or, if you need to send them to me via e-mail, my addy is:
[email protected]Karajoma, the overall shape of that pic seems...off. The overall thing to remember about making Vasudan ships is that there are more curves than sharp angles, gennerally speaking. The skin of your pic may say 'Vasudan' but the shape screams 'Terran'.
Just MHO. I understand it's a work in progress, but I wanted to let you know what I thought.
All the same, I'd like to see the rest of your work.
If anyone is interested, here is what I'd like to see included in my campaign: 2 new Vasudan fighter mods (one space superiority, one heavy assault), one new Vasudan corvette and one new Vasudan destroyer.
I don't ask for much, do I?
Seriously, though, I DL'ed the FS Modding manual, but it's going to take me a LONG time to get enough skill to be good at it. Plus I have to get other software to be able to do the stuff I want.
So I just thought I'd ask if anyone was working on Vasudan mods.
While we're on the subject, what do you guys think are important principles to remember when building vasudan mods?
Here's my first one:
1) Basic design should have more curves than angles, otherwise the ship will look more Terran than Vasudan, despite the skin.
Anyone else?
