I was over a the Volitionwatch Archives and I picked up a MOD that lets you fly all of the Shivan ships, and use all of the weapons(For Freespace1). I was wondering if anybody had done something like that for Freespace2. You know, ship icons, weapons icons, et cetera. The weapons banks on some of the ships would have to be changed of course. If anybody is interested in doing this, I can redo all the tables(That's the only thing I can do pretty much)If you can help me with the .ani files. i want to make a campaign that your shivan in. You will journey to the Andromeda galaxy, go to Shiva Prime. Fight the thought o be extinct Ancients, and so forth. This would also require Ancients, mods. but i have already picked up all the ones available for download.

If I remember correctly, there was a version of that Shivan MOD for FS2 also. And it's most likely also at the VWA. It wasn't fully completed though and doesn't have load out pics I don't think.

I also have a new Shivan sentry gun, the Shivan equivalent of the Mjolnir.

It's the SSG GunRahu. A major variant of the Rahu gas miner, but with an LRed beam cannon in the spinning "abdomen" or whatever.

I would need the selection icons for the ships, and the selection icons for the Shivan weapons. Just three, the Shivan Light Laser, Shivan Heavy, and Shivan Mega. I don't need ship weapons overhead, or weapons tech ani's but if you could, that would be great. Sorry i can't do anything but hack tables.

Has anybody made a Shivan installation that is really big? Say about 30 to 40 km in diameter. A similar sort of hight. I suppose a spherical shape would be good. I understand this causes problems with the polygon count and all, but that wouldn't matter as it would be used in nebula missions and detail tends to go unnoticed. Though obviously as much detail as possible.

Actually, having now done a search for such a model, I think that one featuring in Inferno will do just nicely.

EST = Eastern Standard Time. It's 5 hours behind UK time IIRC, and applies to the eastern coast of the US and Canada, a good chunk of the Caribbean, and the middle of South America.

Are you talking about the standard Shivan fighters? If so I will make some icons, all I need is the hud ani for them, however at the moment I only have acces to the FS1 ships, so someone will have to e-mail me the fs2 ones. My adress is [email protected]

I'll send you the .pof data for all the Shivan ships that aren't in fs1. Except the Mara, an icon for that  ship came with the game, because you fly it in one of the missions

You doon't need to make icons for the Scorpion, or the Shaitan, as they aren't in fs2.
